The Malta Visa Application Centre which was inaugurated on 8^th April 2009, has been authorised by the Embassy of Malta in Beijing to receive visa applications from all over China, to receive the visa fee and to return passports to visa applicants holding ordinary passports.

Processing of visa applications, interviews and decision making on all visa applications will continue to be made by officials of the Embassy of Malta in accordance with the rules relating to Malta Immigration and instructions issued by the Central Visa Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malta. Staff members of the Visa Application Centre are in no way involved in the decision making process and are unable to influence the process.

The Malta Visa Application Centre receives visa applications from Monday to Friday from 8.00 am till 3 pm. Applicants are kindly requested to submit the visa application in person.
